Asian Paints returns with the ninth season of Where The Heart Is, reaffirming why the series has become one of India’s most enduring home décor narratives. More than a showcase of beautiful interiors, the series has always focused on the emotional life of homes. Season 9 continues that tradition, shifting the spotlight from décor trends to the memories, values, and everyday rituals that shape how people live.
Over the years, the show has evolved into a cultural reference point, reminding viewers that a home is not built by finishes alone. It is shaped by time, relationships, and personal choices that give meaning to space.
Five Homes, Five Ways of Living
Season 9 opens the doors to five distinctive homes belonging to Sonakshi Sinha and Zaheer Iqbal, Gautam Gambhir, Keerthy Suresh and Antony Thattil, Archana Puran Singh and Parmeet Sethi, and Aman and Priya Gupta. Each home is unique in geography, design language, and personality, yet all share a common thread of warmth and authenticity.
Rather than presenting idealised spaces, the season captures homes as they are lived in. These are spaces shaped by routines, conversations, pauses, and the quiet comfort of familiarity.
Archana and Parmeet: A Home That Grows With Time
Archana Puran Singh and Parmeet Sethi’s Anglo-Spanish inspired home in Madh reflects a life shaped slowly and thoughtfully. Rooted in nature and family, the house has evolved organically over the years. One of its most striking features is the ‘Wall of Memories’ in the living room, where photographs and personal artefacts create a visual archive of shared moments.
Here, design feels gentle and lived-in, emphasising continuity rather than change. The use of Asian Paints Nilaya Arc pearlescent limestone finishes adds a soft glow that enhances the emotional warmth of the space without overpowering it.
Keerthy and Antony: Colour as Emotion
In Kochi, Keerthy Suresh and Antony Thattil’s apartment reflects her instinctive connection with colour and feeling. The home is vibrant, playful, and deeply personal, designed to spark joy in everyday moments. Traditional accents blend seamlessly with contemporary elements, creating spaces that feel expressive yet grounded.
Keerthy’s bedroom stands out for its understated elegance, where Nilaya Arc finishes add texture and depth. The design choices here are not about visual drama but about comfort and emotional resonance.
Sonakshi and Zaheer: A Home With Many Moods
Sonakshi Sinha and Zaheer Iqbal’s penthouse, aptly named Saada, unfolds as a home of contrasts. From lively conversations in a sunken seating area to quieter corners filled with personal memories, the space accommodates multiple moods.
An inventive Royale Play wall-to-floor texture brings the outdoors inside, grounding the home and adding tactile richness. The design reflects a balance between openness and intimacy, mirroring the rhythm of daily life.
Gautam Gambhir: Calm, Discipline, and Reflection
Gautam Gambhir’s light-filled home offers a striking contrast to his public persona. The space is serene and restrained, shaped by calm and discipline rather than display. A thoughtfully curated corner dedicated to cricket memorabilia stands out, not as a showcase of achievement, but as a tribute to legacy and reflection.
The use of a beloved matt white shade from Nilaya Arc ties the space together, reinforcing simplicity and clarity while holding deep personal significance.
Aman and Priya: Designed for a Modern Family
Aman and Priya Gupta’s Gurgaon home captures the rhythm of a contemporary family. Designed for flexibility and creativity, the home features open spaces where children can move freely and conversations flow naturally. It is a home that prioritises togetherness, adaptability, and quiet moments as much as energy and play.
Design as Storytelling
A defining theme this season is the idea of design as storytelling. Colour, texture, and finishes are treated as emotional tools rather than decorative elements. Across all five homes, design choices reflect personal journeys, not trends.
Season 9 also introduces the Asian Paints Where The Heart Is Lookbook, a curated design companion that decodes the colours, finishes, and moods seen in the series. The Lookbook bridges inspiration and action, allowing viewers to translate what they see on screen into their own homes.
A Platform That Continues to Evolve
Amit Syngle, MD and CEO of Asian Paints, notes that with over a billion views, Where The Heart Is has grown into India’s most watched home décor series. “With the ninth season of Asian Paints Where The Heart Is, we are proud to continue a journey that Asian Paints has been committed to for decades, helping Indians see their homes not just as places they live in, but as personal reflections of who they are. With over 1 billion views & counting, Asian Paints Where the Heart Is continues to be India’s most loved & watched home décor shows. Over the years, this series has evolved into a meaningful platform through which we have guided consumers on colour, décor and design — simplifying choices, demystifying trends, and showing how thoughtful design decisions can elevate everyday living. As a brand that has long stood for colour and design authority, this responsibility lies at the heart of everything we do.”
Sharing his perspective on the new season, Joshua Karthik, Co-Founder, Stories in Motion, said “For nearly a decade, Asian Paints Where The Heart Is has been about telling meaningful stories through the lens of homes, and it continues to feel deeply personal to us. Season 9 is about homes as emotional landscapes, with stories of families shaped by love, memories and new beginnings. Beyond design and décor, we focused on the quieter details: the colours people gravitate towards, the warmth they seek, the comfort they return to, and the personal touches that carry meaning. Each home this season reflects a way of life, a lived-in warmth and authenticity, and the distinct sensibilities of those who inhabit it, making the series feel more intimate, authentic and human than ever before.”
