Umiya Buildcon Limited (BSE: 532376 | NSE: UMIYA-MRO), formerly MRO-TEK Realty Limited, has announced the appointment of Mr. Prabhugouda Biradar as Chief Technology Officer. The move underscores the company’s commitment to deepening its Research & Development ecosystem and advancing its Make in India agenda through the design and development of indigenous Network OS and hardware systems.
In his new role, Mr. Biradar will lead Umiya Buildcon’s technology direction, focusing on strengthening engineering processes, modernising product development cycles, and building a future-ready technical organisation. His leadership is expected to accelerate innovation across the MRO-TEK product portfolio and enhance the company’s ability to deliver secure, intelligent communication platforms.
Mr. Biradar brings over 30 years of experience in distributed systems, carrier-grade Network Operating Systems, and AdTech platforms. He has spearheaded the development of five generations of telecom Network OS and successfully taken mission-critical programmes from concept to global deployment. A postgraduate in Software Systems from BITS Pilani, he has held senior leadership roles at Philips, Cisco Systems, and Huawei, where he served as Vice President for the Network Business Unit and AdTech. He has also mentored early-stage companies in Causal AI and AdTech, contributing to advancements in automation and platform engineering.
