Sankey Prasad, a veteran real estate entrepreneur and advisor with over four decades of global experience, has acquired 100% ownership of Colliers Project Leaders (CPL) Middle East. With this move, he assumes the role of Chairman of the newly independent entity, marking a significant milestone in his career and the region’s project management landscape.
The acquisition follows Prasad’s complete exit from Colliers India and Colliers Project Leaders, where he served as Chairman & Managing Director. Under his five‑year leadership, Colliers India delivered double‑digit EBITDA growth, establishing itself as one of the strongest regional performers within the global Colliers network.
Previously holding a 30% stake in CPL Middle East, Prasad has now acquired the remaining 70%, taking full control of the business. CPL has long been recognized as a key project management and advisory segment under Colliers International, which currently carries a market capitalization of ~USD 7.2 billion.
Operating under private ownership, the restructured entity will focus on capitalizing on the Middle East’s evolving real estate and infrastructure demand across mixed‑use developments, hospitality, industrial, commercial, and large‑scale capital projects. The transition ensures continuity for existing clients and teams while enabling sharper, market‑responsive growth.
Prasad emphasized that the acquisition aligns with his broader vision to build a global portfolio of high‑impact advisory and project leadership businesses. Guided by decades of strategic insight and delivery excellence, he aims to expand his footprint and redefine project management standards in the region.
