Percept ICE, the experiential marketing and event management arm of Percept Limited, delivered a high-impact showcase for India’s gems and jewellery industry with the IIJS Bharat SIGNATURE Networking Night 2026. Held on January 8 at the Lotus Ballroom, Jio World Convention Centre, Mumbai, the evening brought together over 1,200 industry leaders, dignitaries and guests for a celebration that blended business gravitas with high-glamour production.
Conceptualised, produced and executed by Percept ICE, the networking night was designed as both a premium industry gathering and a celebration of excellence. The Lotus Ballroom was transformed into an elegant, immersive space through bespoke stage architecture, refined décor, curated lighting and seamless spatial design, reflecting the stature of one of the country’s most influential trade bodies, the Gem & Jewellery Export Promotion Council (GJEPC).
The evening opened with an address by GJEPC Chairman Kirit Bhansali, setting the tone for a series of curated moments that recognised leaders and changemakers within the industry. Percept ICE managed the complex flow of the programme, coordinating multiple dignitaries, award segments and transitions with precision to ensure each moment retained its intended impact.
A key highlight of the night was the IIJS Bharat ‘Hall of Fame Award Ceremony’, which honoured 11 iconic contributors to the gems and jewellery ecosystem. The awardees represented a broad cross-section of the industry, including Dhamani Jewels, Vishindas Holaram (Lakhi Group), Sambhav Gems, Hasmukh Parekh Jewellers, the World Gold Council, Silver Emporium, GIA, Kotak Bank, Katerina Perez, Jan Lexus and the Natural Diamond Council. Each segment was supported by carefully crafted audio-visual narratives, dynamic stage design and polished emcee-led transitions.
The evening concluded on a celebratory note with a live performance by Meet Brothers, as the formal awards setting seamlessly transitioned into a high-energy concert environment. Concert-grade sound, lighting and visuals redefined the space, allowing guests to move effortlessly from networking and recognition to celebration.
From stakeholder coordination with GJEPC and industry leaders to stage management, artist production and technical execution, the IIJS Bharat SIGNATURE Networking Night underscored Percept ICE’s expertise in delivering large-scale, high-stakes industry events.
Commenting on the execution, Vidya Alva, Chief Operating Officer, Percept ICE, said the focus was on balancing spectacle with substance. “Every element of the evening was guided by immersion and storytelling, allowing us to elevate a formal awards and networking ceremony into an experience that reflected both the stature and the spirit of the gems and jewellery industry,” she said.
