Candlelight® by Live Your City is set to host a special evening of live music in Mumbai on February 1 at the Four Seasons Hotel Mumbai, offering audiences a refined yet immersive concert experience under its signature candlelit glow.
Known globally for blending live music with atmospheric settings, Candlelight® transforms the hotel’s elegant, contemporary interiors into an intimate performance space. The Mumbai edition brings together a carefully curated selection of Indian music, spanning popular Bollywood hits from the 2000s, timeless compositions by A.R. Rahman, and soulful melodies made famous by Arijit Singh.
Designed as a relaxed and sensory experience, the evening allows familiar songs to be reinterpreted in a stripped-back, acoustic format. Performed in a warm candlelit ambience, the music unfolds with heightened emotion and depth, inviting audiences to slow down and engage deeply with the sound. The concept focuses on connection, between music, space, and listener, rather than scale or spectacle.
The February 1 programme features three distinct performances. Candlelight: Best of 2000s Bollywood will take place at 5:00 pm, reimagining nostalgic favourites through live instrumentation by an Indian classical trio. This will be followed by Candlelight: Tribute to A.R. Rahman at 7:00 pm, featuring Nandini Shankar on violin, Anil Dhumal on keyboard, and Tanay Rege on tabla. The evening concludes with Candlelight: Tribute to Arijit Singh at 9:00 pm, with performances by Avadhoot Phadke on flute, Rupak Dhamankar on tabla, and Tushar Lall on keyboard.
Each concert runs for approximately 60 minutes, with tickets starting at Rs 1,499. By bringing together live musicianship, iconic Indian music, and an intimate venue, Candlelight® continues to expand its presence in India, offering audiences a distinctive way to experience music at the heart of the city.
