BookMyShow Live has announced a major moment for India’s rock audience,UK arena rock legends Def Leppard will headline a three-city India tour in March 2026, marking the band’s first full-scale headliner run in the country.
The tour kicks off March 25, 2026, in Shillong at Jawaharlal Nehru Stadium (Polo Grounds), followed by a Mumbai show on March 27 at Jio World Garden, before concluding in Bengaluru on March 29 at NICE Grounds.
Tickets go on general sale at 12 PM (Noon) IST on December 13, 2025, exclusively on BookMyShow.
Speaking about the tour, frontman Joe Elliott said, “We’re excited to announce our India tour dates in 2026. Playing for our fans in India is thrilling for us. The India tour continues BookMyShow Live’s expanding Bandland On Tour property, an extension of its rock and alternative music festival, Bandland, as the company scales its footprint across the country.
For over four decades, Def Leppard have been at the forefront of rock, crafting era-defining albums and earning a place in the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame. With more than 110 million albums sold and two U.S. Diamond Awards, the band’s catalogue,featuring classics like “Rock of Ages,” “Pour Some Sugar on Me,” “Animal,” and “Foolin’”,continues to resonate with generations of listeners. Their concerts are known for high-production rock theatrics, pristine harmonies and visual storytelling that have set global touring standards.
The band’s 2023 touring cycle saw them headline sold-out shows across Europe, including Wembley Stadium, as part of a two-year global run with Mötley Crüe that sold more than 2.1 million tickets in 27 countries across five continents. In the same year, Def Leppard released Drastic Symphonies, their orchestral collaboration with the Royal Philharmonic Orchestra, which debuted at No. 4 on the UK charts,their highest position in 32 years.
